This wireless WIFI OBD II code reader provides Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) readings straight to the user’s mobile device to determine why the vehicle’s engine light is showing. Compatible with iOS & Android mobile phones/tablets, Windows PC & Macs. This reader connects to your local WIFI via one of the many OBDII reader apps that you can download and install.
The wireless reader provides both generic and manufacturer specific codes as well as live diagnostic information and current engine data via compatible apps. It also determines the malfunction indicator lamp status and it reviews emission readiness status. It is ideal for all kinds of users, including professionals and home mechanics.
To operate this device, download and install an OBD II reader app onto your devices. Then link the wireless reader to the app over your WIFI connection.
There are many free and paid apps to choose from. Take some time to research these apps and pick the app that meets your needs. Then download the app and follow the instructions as displayed.
The device will work with all OBD II certified vehicles from 2001 onwards (including CAN). Not compatible with motorcycles and hybrid & electric vehicles.
Please note, for your vehicle to be OBD II compliant, it must have a 16-pin DLC (Data Link Connector) and the Vehicle Emission Control Information Label must state that the vehicle is OBD II compliant. Please check before purchase.

Please note: The reader will not be able to read codes for airbags and braking systems. OBD II readers mainly read OBD II codes (emissions systems) in 99.9% of vehicles.
